Texas Crunk is created by Michael Garrett. I reside in Plano, Texas just north of Dallas.
I am a full-time college student majoring in Graphic Design.. I am in my 2nd year.
I am addicted to music…if that’s possible. It is probably one thing that I could actually not live without. It can hype me up, calm me down, make me think. It does a lot and I can relate to a lot of what I hear. It is a free expression of art that can be appreciated on a large-scale basis. Texas Crunk is my blog to help spread my knowledge and thoughts on both hip hop music and urban culture, and to help others get their views and comments out.
I have always been into the internet and computers since I got my first PC when I was 11. Since then I have taught myself everything that I can get myself into. I spend hours just surfing through the internet looking for the latest news on everything tech, entertainment, business or just about anything else.
My main hobby is graphic design. I have designed website, logos and other freelance work.

Good to see a young brother into something positive! I was into music a lot when I was in college (ages ago), and have grown quite a bit since those days. Now, I work full-time at home on the internet and make more than I ever made teaching college.
I’d like to encourage you to stay well, stay in school, learn as much as you can — especially about website development and (when you get around to it) internet marketing! That’s where the “new” money is going to come from. BTW, if you haven’t done so already, you could use some Google AdSense links on your site — that’ll make you some money and help get you started!
